We can get you closer to your normal range of motion you once had, using our advanced procedures for orthopaedic care.

Acupuncture

We at German Orthopaedics strongly believe, that acupuncture is a method of encouraging the body to promote natural healing and to improve functioning. This is done by inserting needles and applying heat or electrical stimulation at very precise acupuncture points. We recognize the use of acupuncture in the treatment of a wide range of medical problems, including, but not limited to neurological and muscular disorders, as in:

  • headaches
  • facial tics
  • neck pain
  • rib neuritis
  • frozen shoulder
  • tennis elbow
  • low back pain
  • sciatica
  • osteoarthritis

Cryotherapy

The cooling treatment offered by German Orthopaedics, known as cryotherapy, requires spending time in a “cryosauna” that’s cooled to -264 degrees. While the method is not new, it is said to reduce inflammation, improve athletic performance and even slow signs of aging. The first thing you notice after leaving the cryosauna, is the enormous rush of endorphins and energy afterwards, and that high lasts like five to six hours and may very well increase your mental focus. While recovering from ankle surgery, it helps reduce the swelling around the joint, which improves the range of motion and stability. Not only does it simulate and expedite the healing process, but it eliminates the discomfort that can prevent someone from proper rehabilitation in tissue strengthening after muscle damage.
